My name is Emily Schmid and I am a recent graduate of the University of Virginia. I have an interdisciplinary degree in arts administration with focuses in Youth and Social Innovation and Drama. I am an artist, an educator, an advocate. Most of all I am a storyteller. I believe stories are a particular kind of magic. They connect us across space and time, remind us of what is most important to us, and offers us comfort in times of sorrow. Most of all, they make us human.
